This state election of 2014 is against Napthime and Daniel Andrews. Personally I don’t know who I would vote for because I haven’t heard of either of the party’s. The election is in 14 day’s (2 weeks). Daniel Andrews is born on the 6 July 1972 his middle name is Michael and he was elected member for the Legislative Assembly in the 2002 election. Denis Napthime was born 6 March 1952 his middle name is Vincent and he was elected leader of the Parliamentary Liberal Party on 6 March 2013.

Today two performers from “class act” named “Briden and Kat” came to the school to do a performance about bullying but most of it was about cyber bullying. There act was about what happens and what you should do when you are being cyber bullied or when you notice it. There act was very funny with all the impressions of other people and the raps and also the funny faces the actors were pulling. The actor’s names during the show were C.J and Kat. The impressions that the actors were doing was a teacher from their school a Councillor from their school and an American cop. The act that they did was named Cyber Busters. I really enjoyed the play I hope they come next year.

Today the boys bat-tennis team played a fun and quite challenging game of bat-tennis against st Bernard’s, the scores were I think 33 to 47 in their favour. Some of the highlights were Mick and my game with the score of 9 to 5 in our favour and everyone’s teamwork. I would like to thank Mrs c for coaching us.

Today the year sixes at Pascoe vale primary school went to VSSEC located at Strathmore secondary collage. The educators that were teaching us more about mars were named BEN and VIVIAN there was one other lady but I forgot her name and I forgot the two names of the science educators. The things we did with the mars educators were mission control and being astronauts when we were in mission control we had a computer each and we had a roll and every time an astronaut on the computer screen went red we had to answer a question about mars, and being an astronaut we had to a few experiments that would be helpful in space, and with the science we had to do experiments with static electricity which was fun. The reason why we went to VSSEC was to develop more information about mars and science. In total I had really fun time learning about mars and science and I had lots of fun with my friends.

This term has been really interesting we have been to lots of fun excursions we had football and hot dog day. I have had an awesome term 3 but there has been a few dislikes along the way. The things that I have liked are the IMAX theatre, football day and earn and learn and the science incursions, all of the things that I just mentioned are things that I have really loved and enjoyed with myself and my friends. The things that I have not so loved was the Melbourne gaol because we were just standing there listening to a man talk about the gaol but in the end it was ok. The hot dogs weren’t very nice because they didn’t taste like normal hot dogs.
Next term which is term 4, I would like to learn and discover different and new things about space. Thank you.

Wednesday the 10th of September the school hosted a footy day. We had Strathmore children come to do some of the activities; some of the activities were tackling bags, handballing into a target and kicking goals ETC.
We had a hot dog day as well as football day they were $3 each, I really liked them, but some of my friends did not like them. We also had a football team parade, where you would walk in circles high fiving people to your team anthem. THANK YOU.

Yesterday the 3rd of September we went to the Old Melbourne Gaol and IMAX and even the park which was really fun. I think it was a good idea to go to the park because it is good to run around at parks to get fresh air and play games with everybody.

First of all we went to the Old Melbourne Gaol in the city. The buses picked us up from school at about 10 past 9. I think we got to the Old Melbourne Gaol at half past 9 past quarter to 10. Our tour guide was named Trevor. I really liked being at the Old Melbourne Gaol but I think my favourite part was when Trevor showed and explained us where Ned Kelly got hanged.

After the tour around the Old Melbourne Gaol we went to the park for half an hour or so and everybody played either soccer or tiggy, but me and all of my friends played an unknown gun game with sticks which was really fun but tiring at the same time. I had a really fun time at the park with all my friends I wish we had a little bit more time to play and get fresh air.

After the park we watched a movie at Imax cinemas about space, how they build space shuttles and how hard people have to work to become an astronaut and guess what it was narrated by Tom Cruise. I think my favourite part was when they showed how to build the space shuttles.

Poems

Ballad poem: A balled poem is retelling a historical event put into rhyming words.

Haiku poem: haiku is a Japanese poem. It has three lines line 1 has 5 syllables line two has 7 syllables and line 3 has 5 syllables.
Cinquain poem: a cinquain poem has 5 lines: line 1 has the title (noun) 1 word. Line 2 has description 2 words. Line 3 action 3 words. Line 4 feeling (phrase) 4 words. Line 5 title (synonym) 1 word.

Today peaple from VSSEC at strathmore came for two hours to talk to us about science. The 1st talked to us about U V light that comes from the sun and we made a braclet with UV detecter beads. The second man showed us microscopic bugs and fossils.

The first man Ian was teaching us about UV light and what could protect UV beads, i tried everything and my goal was to make the not change colour and it worked, after that Ian let us make a braclet with 3 UV beads that are small and circular and they change colour when they detect UV light.

The 2nd man Ben was teaching us about mars and about fossils. Ben let us use the telescopeto see microscopic bugs and creatures and fossils. Some of the microscopic bugs were alive and i was scared that they were going to crawl of the microscope.

In total i think had a lot of fun with the science with all of my friends and the teachers.
